“A Journey” is a Filipino drama based on the life journey of three childhood friends who are embarked on a journey of togetherness when they get the news of one of their friends, Kaye whose prolonged illness of Cancer has made its way back to her life.
This time she is not ready to get her treatment but she is on her way to cross a journey with her husband and her best friend who all were also the childhood trio in their times. She makes a bucket list and asks both of them to mark off her bucket list across Tasmania.

The primary location for the movie is based on the camp setting of Manila. Beginning in May 2023, the principal photography for the drama film continued for about three months, before seemingly wrapping up in August of the same year.
MANILA, PHILIPPINES
The movie was primarily shot around the capital city of Manila. Manila AKA the City of Manila, which lies on the eastern shore of Manila Bay on the island of Luzon. Many aerial shots and cinematic shots were captured on the serene city coast.
TASMANIA, AUSTRALIA
Another primary location for the movie is the Australian island state wich was also a beautiful location which acted as a unique backdrop for the movie. Many key scenes were taped at this location.
The Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park situated in the Central Highlands area of the island. Consisting of many walking trails, the national park is where hikes for the popular Overland Track begin was actually the backdrop which crafted the compelling movie scenes of the visuals.
The town of Penguin, on the island of Tasmania, was the location of yet another filming location. It is situated between Burnie and Ulverstone. It appears that the film crew spent a good deal of time filming in and around the small town in order to capture important moments.
All in all, the three friends drove through the rugged terrain of Tasmania, capturing a lot of outdoor and aerial photos.
MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA
The Australian state was also a lavish location for the shooting of the movie. The production team recorded a number of important scenes for the movie against the backdrop of the expansive city and its modern architecture.
The hustling bustling city with modern intricacy provides a perfect filming location for the movie. Shooting for the movie took place within Southbank, Abbotsford, Surrey Hills, Bundoora, and Clayton.
The inner city of Abbotsford also proved to be a varying location due to its hubspots, unique cafes, bustling streets, skyscrapers and tinted aesthetic view which is a unique picture setting view for detailed cinematography.
