“Love And Jane.” David Weaver’s ‘Love & Jane’ is a remarkable movie that brings the 19th-century novelist and literature expert Jane Austen(Kendra Anderson) to life. Lilly (Alison Sweeney)is a hopeless romantic and literary enthusiast, gets the surprise of a lifetime when her favorite author, Jane Austen, comes into her life. She is an advertising executive who abandoned her goal of becoming a writer.
She does, however, continue to enjoy Jane Austen’s books and reads them on a daily basis. When Lilly receives an unsolicited proposal, she seeks guidance from the author, who appears miraculously. Lilly is taken aback at first, but she seizes the chance and soaks up Austen’s advice.
With Jane Austen’s priceless teachings to guide her, Lilly takes on life with confidence, learning lessons about independence, dedication, and love. The story is lighthearted romantic story mixed with humor and enriched by the perspectives of a historical feminist heroine on current romance.
