CBS’s drama series “Elsbeth,” which was created by Robert and Michelle King, immerses viewers alongside the legendary Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston) in the center of New York City’s criminal underworld.
The high cast drama alongside chivalrous and murderous thefts of New York city, is portrayed greatly. Alongside Elsbeth, is the renowned detective and New York’s most eligible bachelor , officer Kaya Blanke who has joined allies with Elsbeth in wiping out the New York city clean.
The metropolis city is infected with high class criminals and Officer Elsbeth is determined to wipe them and to embark her bold career in finishing them she joins hands with NYPD to solve this series of heinous crimes committed by the suspected gang.
Elsbeth is given the duty to corner the bloody criminals who are juggling in the bustling streets of New York alongside Captain Wanger. The crime series paired with a suitable amount of comedy is a must watch entertaining drama.
Elsbeth Series Filming Locations
One must be curious to find out the various filming sites where the sitcom is filmed. Backdrop in the famous NYC, and its metropolitan streets filled with tons of shops , it is a remarkable filming site.
Various locations where the sitcom was introduced and filmed include one of the primary locations, Manhattan, where one can see the Rockefeller Center on 45 Rockefeller Plaza.
The famous rink is where Captain Wagner and Elsbeth meet in the background of its busy ice skating rink and this is the place where the senior officer reminds Elsbeth of her part in their adventures.

Filled with an entertaining spirit, the place is a bustling center where one can find various other activities to enjoy.
Various landmarks are also introduced in the opening scenes of the movie when Elsbeth makes her entry on a touring bus.
Some scenes of the pilot episode, with a number of police officers standing by the side of the road, were shot on West 58th Street on the periphery of Central Park.
The show’s aerial views of the city also feature the lush expanse of Central Park and the urban sprawl of Upper West Side Manhattan.
The episode which involved the murder of a high school student in the apartment was filmed in the riverside along the broadway, further filming for the episode took place on the Upper East Side.

Another remarkable and designated landhouse was the IRt Powerhouse, where some scenes of the series can be seen. When Elsbeth stops the tour bus in an episode, we can see the inactive powerhouse at its background shot which was captured in a detailed view.
Another scene where The NYPD officers seen in the shot was filmed outside Morty’s Wine & Beer Bar at 15 West End Avenue.
Throughout the film we can also see Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir as some famous landmarks alongside various other skyscrapers enhancing the point of view for the whole movie.

Overall the series had some great cinematic shots with officer Elsbeth aka Carrie Perton tracing them with her natural acting and style and the NYC played a brilliant role providing a scenic background for the movie.
The landscape of New York City has become synonymous with fast-paced city life and is also featured in shows like ‘Law and Order’, ‘Blue Bloods’ etc.
