The terrifying sequel to the great movie ‘Insidious’ and ‘Insidious: Chapter 2’, ‘Insidious: The Red Door’ is the latest installment in the mystery horror series. The narrative story follows the disturbing story of the Lambert family, who are haunted by the unwanted spirits of a place called Further.
Josh Lambert and his son Dalton are ‘travelers’ and this thing is unknown to them because they ‘travel’ in their sleep. Although Josh didn’t know that because he was saved by his mother’s friend Ellen, who is able to see things that normal people can’t see.
He also helps his son, Dalton, who, like his father, travels and gets lost in a disturbingly dark place. When Dalton’s repressed demons come back to haunt him and his father, his college dreams become a nightmare.
Now the Lamberts must go further into the Beyond to face their family’s troubled past and the many terrifying truths that are kept behind the red door in order to finally break the curse.
Directed by Patrick Wilson, the horror film has a terrifying undertone and disturbing imagery set against the backdrop of eerie remote locations such as a picturesque college that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
