“Under the Bridge.” A spine-chilling story of a teenage girl’s murder who once had gone to part with her friend has never returned. “Under The Bridge” follows the story of As Rebecca Godfrey delves into the murder investigation of a teenage girl, she uncovers unsettling truths.
The girl, Reena Virk, had been badly beaten and drowned and the investigation leads to the cause of death as severe trauma and drowning. The mystery of the case is yet to be solved and the little girl is yet to be provided with justice.
As the detectives try to elicit information from the adolescent females she was last seen with, novelist Rebecca Godfrey breaks into the gathering and starts to solve the puzzle. The Hulu show is adapted from the book of the same name based on true events.
The episodes take us back to Victoria in the 1990s, with its icy metropolitan settings and untamed tundra perfectly contrasting with the terrifying story of disturbed youths, bigotry, and murder.
Under the Bridge (2024) Series Filming Locations
The primary location for the Under the Bridge series was decided to be the Greater Vancouver area where the true events took place.
Principal photography began in December 2022, and the first season of Under the Bridge series was wrapped up in five months by April 2023.
GREATER VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA
For the first season, shooting was carried out across 79 sets, out of which 50 were on-location sets and 29 were built in a studio(White Studios) The picturesque locale neighborhood of the place proved to be a justified and captivating location for the filming sites.
The Allied Shipyard in North Vancouver and neighborhoods in New Westminster can be easily identified in the backdrops of the Under the Bridge series.

The Under the Bridge series was filmed at a number of locations, including the Allied Shipyard on 1870 Harbour Road in North Vancouver. Situated on Burrard Inlet’s northern bank.The series uses the yard as a gritty backdrop, with the adolescents using it as a hangout.
The girls congregate there and make use of the abandoned furniture, and in the distance we can see cages, crates, and other debris scattered about beside corroded metal infrastructure. The ambiance of the shipyard created a dramatic visual for compelling the narrative of the story and unfolding all the dramas and mysteries casted in that.

Another location where a pink house is seen in the movie is actually located at 1013 Cornwall Street. The 2001-built, single-family, four-bedroom house is privately owned. A few of the group’s discussions happen along Cornwall Street at different intersections. Another scene like this one has a house on Chilliwack Street in the distance.
NEW WESTMINSTER
Filming for many of the show’s interior scenes and sequences requiring special effects takes place at Whites Studios Fraserwood at 22031 Fraserwood Way. Under its 25-foot clear-height ceiling, White Fraserwood Studio is a 119,000-square-foot complex with five soundstages, a paint shop, a mill, a wardrobe area, and a variety of facilities.

The production team utilized the amenities of the luxurious studios and captured some iconic shots which can be seen in the series. The studio has become North America’s top production hub and is also easily accessible due to its demographic locations.
New Westminster’s charming Victorian-era homes and heritage sites make it a popular filming destination.
