Fiasco is a 2024 comedy series compiled and prepared under the creative direction of Igor Gotesma.. The series revolves around the story of a young passionate movie director who wants to film his first debut film but things take a serious wrong turn when one of the team members tries to sabotage the filming process.
Raphaël Valande who wants to shoot his first feature film gets the movie idea inspiration from his grandmother whom he decides to pay tribute to who served as an important member of the French Resistance in her past days.
She was an inspiration for him as she was a gentle and kind lady whose character always motivates Raphaël. The series travels across the various ports of ups and downs and unleashes a bunch of comedic scenes which are enough to make viewers roll on their seats.
The Fiasco series brought many limelight actors such as François Civil, Géraldine Nakache, Gotesman, Leslie Medina, Louise Coldefy, Juliette Gasquet, Pascal Demolon, Djimo, Marie-Christine Barrault, and Vincent Cassel etc. who did commendable work in the movie.
The Fiasco series had its world premiere at the Canneseries Festival on 8 April 2024, and will be released on Netflix on 30 April 2024. It was co-produced by Five Dogs and Ninety Films.
The score was composed by Paul-Marie Barbier and Julien Grunberg. The cinematography and the cameras were rolled by
Julien Roux whose prominent work can be seen in the detailed scenes of Blind Valley (2011) and Africa paradis (2006)
Fiasco (2024) Series Filming Locations
The primary location for the Fiasco series was chosen to be the north-central French region. Cameras rolled and started the process on January 17, 2023 and was wrapped up within the same year in the month of April.
Île-De-France, France
The city encores most of the tourist attractions of the country and has some lavish and beautiful hotspots for tourists as well as the local public to have a fun outing with their family and friends.
It encompasses the French capital city of Paris, which is also a primary filming site of the Fiasco series. Apart from that, a portion of filming is also carried out in the commune of Nandy in the Seine-et-Marne department.
