“Challengers.” After suffering a catastrophic injury during a game, Tashi, a once-promising tennis prodigy, was benched. With just one resource at her disposal, she turns to coaching and becomes her husband Art’s driving force in his professional tennis career.
But, Tashi enters Art in a competition where she will compete against Patrick Zweig who is also Tashi’s ex-boyfriend and former best friend. In a great moment of a serious love triangle, “Challengers” is a sports fiction drama directed under Luca Guadagnino.
Tashi and Patrick had become close friends in their younger days but due to some disparities they ultimately fell into a love triangle.
Now Tashi is stuck with her husband and ex and is on the borderline as now old rivalries and tension has surfaced upon the rooftop creating an overwhelming atmosphere for everyone.

Filming began in May 2022, and filming was wrapped up by June of the same year. Additional shooting is reported to have taken place in November 2022.
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS
The city stands tall high along the unique shores of the Atlantic Ocean, the bustling metropolis is filled with a lots of glamor and glitz.
The city is a century too many picturesque town with an abundance of filming sites and the legendary Charles river prepared to be a boasting backdrop for the Challengers movie.

East Boston and the Back Bay. Situated across Boston Harbor from downtown Boston, east Boston is a cinematic location which taped many crucial scenes for the movie.
The place is known for its vintage restaurant, boasting streets, vibrant atmosphere and charming neighborhood. Filmmakers can capture the magnificent settings of the Boston Public Library, Trinity Church, and the rows of brownstone residences along Commonwealth Avenue, even though business is focused between Newbury Street and Boylston Street.
The Challengers film also lensed a section of the Financial District which is known for its highly modernized buildings and skyscrapers which cover the skyline. John Hancock Tower, One Boston Place, and the Prudential Tower are some famous tall architectural pieces which give the city a charming and elegant look.

Many other towns and districts can also be seen in the backdrops for the movie such as the place where Tashi played the US match was filmed in one of the neighboring towns of East Boston.
The neighboring towns include the sites across Framingham and Bedford in Middlesex County, Beverly and Lynn in Essex County, Braintree and Canton in Norfolk County, and Norton in Bristol County.

The film was shot across the bustling streets of New York where one can find the modern art and the pop culture at peace , which settles in the streets of the city. One may be more than curious to know the shooting sites of the movie.

Throughout the Challengers film we can also see Brooklyn Bridge, and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir as some famous landmarks alongside various other skyscrapers enhancing the point of view for the whole movie. The production team also ventured out to lens some aerial shots of the city.
