The highly anticipated premiere and upcoming sequel of the 2022 horror film ‘M3GAN’ , a sci-fi epic, was a nail-biting and ranked as the top 40 disturbing movies of 2022.
The movie revolves around a brilliant roboticist, Gemma, who designed an AI powered doll, which is a lifelike doll programmed to be a child’s greatest companion and a parent’s greatest ally.

The film is directed by Gerard Johnstone and written by Akela Cooper.
The film M3GAN 2.0 stars Allison Williams and Violet McGraw alongside Jenna Davis who has voiced the doll. The rest of the cast members are yet to be revealed.
In the previous story Gemma, roboticist at a high-tech Seattle toy company who secretly developed the AI-powered doll and unexpectedly becomes a babysitter to her eight-year old niece Cady. M3gan , the humanoid doll, becomes a rather unexpected babysitter for Gemma’s niece showing affections and weird behavior towards Cady which concerns Gemma as the doll becomes more atrocious and fierce even after Gemma’s radiation threats.
Gemma decides to terminate the doll but faces several difficulties leading to a ferocious and chilling climax. Although the ending seems to be tense as Gemma and Cady leave the house, the device activates, causing a chilling unsolved mystery in the end.
The following sequel was not yet explained in the original set-up but maybe it will lead the doll to adapt more profusely while seeking revenge against Gemma and Cady. With M3gan’s physical body being damaged , the sequel may show her explosive powers regenerated and to be evolved in the movie.
M3GAN 2.0 Release Date
The new ‘M3gan 2.0’ was set to release its premiere in January 2025 but due to some unforeseen circumstances it is scheduled to premiere on 15 May 2025.
M3GAN 2.0: Movie Filming Location
The original movie was filmed near the suburban parts of Auckland, which is famous for its magnificent skylines and ravilious coasts while also in a few parts of New Zealand and New York.
