The second season of Max’s superhero series “Peacemaker” is scheduled to begin its first installment In july this year. The pre-production process for the next chapter is already on the rail and is scheduled to be filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Based on the DC Comics character of the same name, Peacemaker is an American superhero television series produced by James Gunn for the streaming service HBO Max. It is a spin-off from the 2021 movie The Suicide Squad and the only television show set in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
Peacemaker Season 2 Confirmed
The series delves deeper into the jingoistic mercenary Christopher Smith / Peacemaker, taking place after the events of the movie. With Gunn in the role of showrunner, it is produced by the Safran Company and Troll Court Entertainment in collaboration with Warner Bros Television.
In the finale of the first series we saw how Christopher Smith , also known as Peacemaker, following his physical rehabilitation from the injuries he sustained during the events of The Suicide Squad (2021) is compelled to enlist in the enigmatic A.R.G.U.S. black ops team known as “Project Butterfly”.
They are on a quest to locate and eradicate parasite butterflies that have infected human bodies all throughout the world.
Peacemaker is still upset with Leota Adebayo(Danielle Brooks) for manipulating him and plotting evidence against him in lieu of the orders given by her mother Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Unexpected difficulties, such the loss of vital helmets, crop up as the squad plans their mission.
Peacemaker is still struggling with the ups and downs of his life and despite several betrayers, he passed his mission with flying colors and defeated the butterflies. The finale also features Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ezra Miller as The Flash in guest capacities.
In the first season of series , Leota Adebayo tells the world the real story of their operation and provides information regarding her mother Waller’s Suicide Squad task. Judomaster finds the Butterflies’ defeat aftermath simultaneously, raising the possibility of a run-in with Peacemaker.

The group travels separately, with Economos going back to Belle Reve Penitentiary, Vigilante recovering and getting ready for more thrilling exploits with Peacemaker, and Harcourt on the road to recovery. At the end, we see Peacemaker at home, having a moment with Goff, the only living Butterfly, and troubled by the ghost of his father Auggie, who passed away.
The highly anticipated second season is all set with its awe-some visuals . Viewers can expect more embedded visuals than the first premiere.
The second installment’s filming is anticipated to begin immediately following Gunn’s completion of the “Superman” film, which is now shooting in Norway. The filming of the second season is scheduled to occur in Vancouver, just like the first.

Viewers can expect John Cena as the titular anti-hero, likely along with Freddie Stroma as Vigilante, given their established camaraderie. Jennifer Holland is expected to continue playing Harcourt, navigating her character’s recovery and potential developments in her relationship with Smith. Steve Agee may return as Economos, who is shown back at Belle Reve prison.
