In the universe of ‘House of Ninjas,’ originally titled ‘Shinobi no Ie: House of Ninjas,’ created by Dave Boyle, the enigmatic Tawara family – the remaining vestiges of a once-illustrious ninja bloodline – lives in the shadows.
The clan members have opted to hide their amazing skills and live seemingly normal lives. However, fate intervenes when a covert group threatens Japan, forcing the Tawara family to shed their appearance of normalcy and embrace their hereditary vocation. Haunted by the consequences of a botched mission, the Tawara family considers reactivating their dormant powers.
However, as word spreads of a lethal toxin infecting their homeland, their resolve is tested. With the memory of their history hanging large, the Tawara family must overcome their fears and uncertainties in order to tackle the growing corruption in the government and the terrible organization behind it.
The House of Ninjas series imagines a world where ninja clans still exist, but are retired and living a normal life. But when a rogue clan threatens to shake up Japan, one family of former ninjas dust off their old skills to save the day.
As for the cast we have:-
Yosuke Eguchi as the father Souichi, Tae Kimura as the mother Yoko, Kengo Kora as the eldest son Gaku, Aju Makita as the eldest daughter Nagi, and Nobuko Miyamoto as the mysterious grandmother Taki, all contributing to the narrative of this secret Tsutsui as Toko Mukai, a policy research council president once saved by the ve ninja spy family.
The cast also includes Riho Yoshioka as Karen Ito, a journalist investigating the incident related to the Tawara family six years ago; Tomorowo Taguchi as Majin Hamashi, an operative of a secret organization; Tokio Emoto as Masamitsu Oki, a newcomer providing high-tech support; and Kyusaku Shimada as Kosaku Kuze, the leader of a cleaning squad responsible for erasing ninja evidence.

Other characters feature Pierre Taki as Zensuke Omi, a detective investigating a theft; Mariko Tawara family; and Tenta Banka as Riku Tawara, the only son unaware of his family’s secrets.
The plot and story is set in a typical Japanese background and with their favorite mythological character , “ninja”. It’s obvious that the movie setting is associated with japanese legends and so are the locations of the movie. The movie is mainly shot across the mainland of TOKYO, JAPAN.
House of Ninjas Series Filming Locations
Principal shooting began in October 2022 and was wrapped up by early 2023. The House of Ninjas series was filmed in Fujinomiya, Odawara, and Tokyo, Japan.
Toho studios was behind the production management of the movie. Located at 1-4-1, Seijo, Setagaya, the facilities at Toho Studios are the first of their kind in Japan. Their extravagant stunt-stud studios with lavish facilities and amazing cinematic backgrounds are perfect for any movie.

The facility was designed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Studio and built entirely from scratch for acoustical work. It contains over a dozen editing rooms, a 100-seat screening theater, an ADR suite, a Foley suit, and a dubbing stage. Toho studios have been a home to many prominent movies not only from Japan but to many other hollywood movies.
Aside from studio locations, Tokyo has a wide range of locales that capture the essence of the Tawara family’s secret world. Dark streets and industrial plants serve as a gritty backdrop for sinister plots, but traditional Japanese housing complexes provide a shelter for introspection and thought amidst the tumult.

To film scenes of a beach battle for the conclusion, the House of Ninjas series crew most likely traveled south to one of Yokohama’s many beaches. Tokyo is an ideal filming location for series like ‘House of Ninjas’, which combine traditional Japanese features with a sophisticated modern setting and plot. As such, comparable productions were filmed throughout the city.
