The 2023 action-thriller packed movie “Boy kills World” is a great binge-watch story. The plot revolves around a martial arts expert’s campaign of vengeance after an attack killed his entire family and left him deaf and silent.
His inner voice, inspired by a video game from his boyhood, gives voice to his thoughts. With Bill Skarsgård portraying the main lead of the deaf-mute guy, who sets out on a vindictive quest against Hilda Van Der Koy, the matriarch of a crooked family known as the Van Der Koys, culprit behind the boy’s family demise.
With Moritz Mohr as the creative director, the boy fights the whole world to get justice for his family who were mauled to death by the impoverished hands. The childhood trauma which the boy faced drives strong motivation in his mind and this inculcates the ability to fight against the culprit.
Besides Bill Skarsgård, the comedy thriller Boy Kills World film also features other talented actors in the industry in supporting roles, including Michelle Dockery, Jessica Rothe, Sharlto Copley, Famke Janssen, Isaiah Mustafa, Brett Gelman, and Andrew Koji.
Sam Raimi and Roy Lee, of Raimi Productions and Vertigo Entertainment respectively, contributed in the filming process pf the Boy Kills World movie.
The managers were impressed by the story and plot of the movie and subsequently agreed to produce alongside Nthibah Pictures and Hammerstone Studios. Orion Pictures was initially involved at one point, but dropped out following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Award-winning cinematographer Peter Matjasko used his artistic talents to transform directors Moritz Mohr’s imaginative concept into a magical apocalyptic scenario in the southern part of Africa. Filming of the bloody revenge thriller began in February 2022 and concluded in a few weeks in April.
The city proved to be a major backdrop location and most of the pivotal scenes were filmed around different corners of the city. Many grotesque and brutal scenes were captured in the Ottery Area.

The location offered a wide range of production facilities, which made sure that the filming went well and that the company met its goal of providing multiple backdrops for the film’s action scenes, one of which even included snow.

The world premiere for Boy Kills World was held at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2023 and finally In January 2024, Lionsgate Films and Roadside Attractions acquired U.S. distribution rights to the film and set it for an April 26, 2024 theatrical release round the world.
